Big Junk USA started the way most honest trades do: one man, one truck, and a phone number he answered himself. Ricardo grew up around work you do with your hands, and he built the business on the thing customers kept telling him was missing — someone who shows up when they said they would and charges what they quoted.
Ten years on, the yard in Hayward holds roll-off dumpsters, dump trucks and our own Bobcat S250, so nothing waits on a rental company. What hasn’t changed is who picks up the phone, and who’s standing in your driveway when the work starts.
Every load goes back to the yard to be sorted — metal to scrap, e-waste to certified recyclers, usable furniture to donation — and you get the Alameda County recycling certificate for your records.
