Flat fee
Covers delivery, your 7 days on site and pickup. Dumping the load at the transfer station is billed on top, at their public per-ton rate.
Swap-outs
Filled it early? We pull the full box and set an empty one, usually same week.
Recycled
Every box sorted at the yard — you still get the Alameda County recycling certificate.
The other number

The recycling
center fee

The flat fee gets the box to you and back. It does not cover dumping the load. After we pick up the full box it is weighed at the Fremont Recycling & Transfer Station, and you pay that facility's public rate for the tonnage. It is their charge, not ours, and you get the weight ticket with the invoice.

3

You fill it

How much does a dumpster rental cost?

The flat fee is $350 for the 10-yard, $450 for the 20-yard and $550 for the 30-yard. That covers delivery, seven days on site and pickup. On top of that is the dump fee: once we haul the full box away it gets weighed at the transfer station and you pay their public rate for the load, with a $63 minimum. The 10-yard is the box for dirt, concrete and other heavy loads; the 20 and 30 are for household and construction debris.

How does the recycling center fee work?

It is the transfer station's charge, not ours, so it is the same no matter who you rent from. After pickup the loaded box goes on the scale at the Fremont Recycling & Transfer Station and you pay their per-ton rate for what is in it (roughly $123 to $134 a ton by material, $63 minimum). You get the weight ticket with the invoice. Current rates are in the recycling center fee section on this page.

Can I put dirt or concrete in it?

Only in the 10-yard. Dirt, concrete, brick and asphalt are heavy enough that they go in the 10-yard box on their own — the 20 and 30 are for trash and construction debris only. Not sure which you need? Send a photo and we’ll tell you.

How long can I keep it?

Seven days come standard. Longer projects run on a flat daily rate, and you can extend mid-rental with one call.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes in Hayward, Castro Valley, San Leandro, Union City, Newark and San Lorenzo when you book before noon. Elsewhere in the East Bay it depends on the route — call early.

Will it damage my driveway?

We put boards down under the rails on every drop. Tight driveway or a gate to clear? Tell us and we’ll bring the size that actually fits.

Do I need a permit?

Not on private property. On the street, most cities require one — we’ll tell you which office to call before delivery day.

What if I’d rather not load it myself?

Then book full-service junk removal instead — our crew loads everything and you never touch it.
